    hello, if i am right in saying its illegal to have no side repeaters, as long as you have indicators you're fine! And yes wing mirror indicators are in place of wing mounted ones! Hope this helps!

    Take the scuttle panel off, looking from the fromt of bonnet its in the top right hand corner, and for drivers side left hand corner, i didnt have any water coming from behind the pedals, so it was a bit mind boggling to figure where it was coming from! Hope this helps

    In the scuttle panel make sure that you drainage holes are clear, i had that problem in my gti and the drainage holes were full up!

    Just checked the seal on the glass, and the join for it is on the drivers side. I do doubt very much that its your screen leaking!

    try getting the drainage pipes blown out with an air hose, just to make sure, it should tilt forward slightly(lower at the front) when fully closed. When you post a pic i will double check for you!
