already tried the maf made no difference at all!!!!

right had it on diagnostics at the garage and the fault code is 00533 idle air regulation adaptation limit exceeded anyone have any ideas????

basically, the way best to descibe is slightly like a misfire and it does not sound smooth at all, ive got a vr as well and the difference is very noticable, however there is no erratic idle, but there is some hesitation when u out your foot down. dnt think he has checked the compression. hope that makes some snese!!!!!

right my bro-in-laws vr is giving us a very bad headache now!!!!! the car is running very rough, we have changed the plugs, leads, coilpack, checked the MAF, cleaned all the breather hoses and the throttle body but it is still running badly. does anyone have anymore ideas as to what it could be????

u can get some hottuning coilovers for that sort of money. my bro-in-laws got them on his vr, no complaints from him. think for the price they seem fine
