I need your help guys & gals, Im in serious need of guidance I love the vento its my baby but the amount of rust is really quite daunting :-/ I want to sort it as 1 it will be very rewarding and 2 I love it. But I jus dunno wat to do, I know if I scrap it I will regret it big time but its ALOT of work :-/ HELP ME :-(

This. The car seat we have for my 6month old daughter is a very tight fit for the seat belt, it only just fits & the baby seat doesn't sit as well as it does in our jeep.
It's a pity they don't do isofix retrofit for the mk3 platform
This is the problem I had in the vento when my little girl was born. I struggled for a while then gave up and bought a base that the seat locks into :-)

If the wires coming from headunit an u dont have freakishly big hands u should be able to run the cable without taking dash apart, just use the space where headunit would sit

When I was looking into it for mine there was some debate as to whether to run divided manifold or not. The main argument was that due to the fact the turbo was divided u had to run a divided manifold so the turbo would pulse properly :-/........ I was just going to make a top mount with divided flange for mine but I dont think it will make that much difference in fairness.

I have a vague recollection of somebody saying they did it without removing the dash but i can imagine that being insanely awkward. Although removing the dash is a time consuming task if you do it slowly and pay attention to where things come from its not too bad of a job. I just ripped it all out did the matrix and threw it all back in, didn't take too long.
