    It looks like the radiator is leaking so I think I'll be getting a new one. Not sure about the oil, I'm hoping that its just a lose joint that needs pinching up. If they don't spot it tomorrow then I'll have a ferret around on saturday. I've blagged the garages at work so I've got a nice pit to work from instead of laying on the driveway It's my everyday car so I don't really want to go messing with it too much, dropping it and adding the exhaust and air filter will be all I do, it's looks great already and its fast enough for my needs for now.     Thank you I would like to keep it as standard as I can I think. It will get the 40mm drop treatment at some point soon. It's booked in with The Phirm tomorrow for a check over, they've recommended a decent exhaust and airfilter which I'll sort out at some point. I need to spend some time just getting it back up to scratch first, it needs a service and it has an oil and coolant leak which I'll be looking at on saturday. I'm off to GSF at lunchtime with my shiny new VR6OC members card to get all the bits and bobs for the service.

    This is my Golf VR6. There are many like it but this one is mine . My Golf VR6 is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Golf VR6 is useless.     Been trying to find someone who can tell me why my VR was wonky at the front. 395mm nearside and 370mm offside! They were only only ones prepared to take a look at short otice and everything I could find on them on the NET looked promising. It took Paul a couple of minutes to spot that someone had fitted new springs and shocks badly ... He knocked the springs back in properly and hey presto all done! I'm going back next thursday for thier free introductory inspection. Then its going back to them for a decent service, new filter and probably a decent exhaust system at some point too. I'll think

    Hiya, Can anyone please tell me what might be causing the standard suspension on my VR6 to be 395mm high on the nearside and 370mm on the offside *-) I understand from an earlier post that it should be 340mm as standard... Looking under the bonnet there is a gap which is well over 10mm between the turret and the metal plate at the top of the suspension, I don't know if that's anything to do with it? I didn't think the standard suspension was adjustable in anyway :| I am due to go on my hols in the car in a couple of weeks so I need to get this sorted or my Girlfriends going to kill me Cheer
