  1. This is not good, I'm dreading mine doing this now, that's the last thing I need after all the expense I've had to deal with this VRT. Be interested to see what SPA have to say, I noticed port alignment on mine is shocking as well, and was also concerned with how easily it rusted.
  2. Thanks very much Kev I will look into all that. Much appreciated. Which one of these plugs would you recommend? Standard Part (may be Copper, Platinum or OEM Iridium) BKR5EKUP Iridium IX Part BKR5EIX Many thanks
  3. I currently have the schimmel short runner intake on my car with an adjustable Eurospec fuel pressure regulator fitted, This means fuel doesn't cycle into one end of the fuel rail and out the other end. I need to go back to an external fuel pressure regulator, can anyone tell me what one I need and where to get one from? Also what are the best plugs for a VRT, and what gap do I need to space them to. I have problems with hot starting with my existing plugs. I have a feeling they are heavily coked up from when the car ran really rich. Any help as to where to buy the plugs & fuel pressure re
  4. unfortunately my engine expired on Saturday, a host of running problems including over/under fueling and over boosting early on probably weakened the engine. I'd just got it running perfectly on C2 management when it blew its guts. Yet to pull it apart but it sounds like it's done a rod. To increase reliability I thought I would uprate the pistons and rods. Can anyone give me any suggestions as to where to buy and what brands. I want straight drop in 81mm pistons to retain the block thickness on the V6. Schimmel do the rods and pistons on their site, they look ok but not sure what I should be
