  1. I'm putting myself down for this. Been putting away a few ££'s every month since easter this year. Looking forward to this.
  2. No mate. Down the clifford bridge road near the ASDA in coventry...near the showcase J2 M6. Always happening. What car dya own James? I spotted a black Raddo VR6 on the A45 other day. Actually, in all fairness, theres been a big influx of 16vers and VR's around nuneaton in the past few weeks.
  3. Pay nobody off here' date=' ferries are with norfolkline most probably or on train thro tunnel, meeting people is at Thurrock services on M25.[b']i will be going down M1 no doubt so can pick you up en route As will I mate.
  4. Sarah's sat on the other side of the room and just said that lol.
  5. I did 2 weeks back. Mine were illegal. There was and always is a humungous police sting going on down the road from my hospital and it goes on for 3hours. 7 police cars, 6 bikes and several unmarked cars pull you over. Makes you wander who's catching the real crims. Yes, my car was pulled for illegal plates....letters spaced too closely. Didn't notice the missing tax disc though.... muppets.
  6. I have a set of JOM coilovers that I bought about 8 months ago. I have to say that I'm not impressed with them. Yes, they lower the car but no matter what height I lowered the car...30 - 55mm, the latter being what I had on my 3dr, the ride was terrible. You feel every bump and stone in the road and they can cause long term problems with exhausts and I do belive they contributed to my front subframe dropping and failing, causing the engine to slam into the road. I've also had to replace a broken/failed £400 performance exhaust with less than 6k miles on it. They lower the car, but the ride qu
  7. I'm 23, 5yrs no claims, no points, 12k a year milage ect. VR6 for me 1 yr ago was £613...Now I have an extra yrs ncb and 6k annual milage and some of the cheapers wanted over 1300 with no extras. Declared 5 different mods to my current policy with Admiral a few months ago and my premium dropped to £569....so I'm stunned.
  8. If it runs spot on and there is no blue and black smoke, then it stands your VR is healthy. With it being really cold of late, exhausts tend to retain moisture as they cool. Mine does the same....well, it did last winter and again recently. As for the fuel gauge, I've not a clue. Maybe a short in the circuit or a faulty sensor.
  9. Nope, I'm a safe driver..... Not any smash that I saw. On a similar note..... was anyone one here driving south toward the M6 toll between J16 - 11 on sunday, then make yourself known. I followed about 100m behind for miles before you floored it and I was stuck behind derek and doris doing 65mph in the 3rd lane.
  10. Na, my green 5 door was heading south from J3 - 2 at 7am, so it wasn't me
  11. Tony, he's in the cave next to my church lol
  12. Good one Jim. I'd love to have a car worth 1 - 2k and kill a 100k supercar lol.
  13. Lol. Least you ate it. Thought you said it was ancient?.....after effects at all? lol.
  14. Hows the squeeze cheese project going now chris?
  15. Um, I'm buying daves 5dr shell on saturday. Once thats done a month I have about 100 to myself after every concievable bill.....so not much money to buy my VR pressies.
  16. dunlop sport sp9000.... same tread pattern as the T1r. As for the wobbling, there was some debate over the rigidity of the tyre wall.
  17. Well I've been reading mixed reviews about the toyo T1R and most have been bad. Not much change in grip, wobbling at higher speeds, slipping and sliding in the wet blah blah. It would seem that the people moaning about them expected them to be glue due to the hype. I ordered a set of 4 toyos.......not going to be here for 2 weeks. But £61 fitted per corner.
  18. Jeeezus. Everywhere around here and up to 30miles away are quoting no less than £89 per tyre.
  19. Hmmm, see 2 people outside of the club recomended these, but these 2 people rarely hit 40mph.....lol. I shall give the tyre pixies a ring in about an hr, cheers Ben.
  20. Giving my poorly gal some new shoes and just wandered what anyone would recomend? I'm not talking about 500 for 4 new tyres either......I still want each to be in the double and not triple figures. This will be for spirited road use and NOT for track use....no I don't want R888's lol. Currently have cheapo nasty tyres on and going round any bend or roundabout means theres a 100% chance I'll die. I rarely reach 3000rpm in first going round smaller glazed islands as I've ended up recently facing the wrong way a few times. Opinions.....please
  21. Me and sarah are thinkin of you Nats.
  22. Yea, it would seem the premium was put up after more than 1 call out. All 3 times were different reasons though. Coilpack 1st time. Water in the engine electircs 2nd time (didnt have WD40 but they did). 3rd time the top caliper mounting bolt came off causing the same effect as a brake drum self servo on the alloy....everytime I braked, the top of the caliper dug into the inner alloy...simple fix....put bottom bolt into top hole. The non info still didnt change the charge. But the biger part of the bill was Roadside relay....which I guessed was roadside assistance/towing. I didnt get to the b
