    Aaaaaanyway, have a check of the market place at the bottom of the main forum page matey. Some engines going for reasonable money there. Several from premium members too. Looked after in most cases

    Doesn't suprise me in the slightest. The government isn't trying to tax/price people off the road, they just want to squeeze as much money as possible from any area they can. About £20,000,000 is spent on our armed forces a day over seas.... thats ONE HUGE bill that COULD be stopped. Council tax is going up by almost £10 a month too in April. Crud systyem, crap government.

    With Admiral F/C, legal cover, ect. 5yrs NC, no points all 5 mods declared.... £603. Renewal due on 11th November with Admiral....£995....why the price hike?!...6yrs N/C on 11th...so price SHOULD drop. Adrian Flux have quoted me £517 to start on 11th....so guess who I'm going with?

    I suppose it's a "marmite" car. You either love it or hate it. I have to say that compared to my old 1.9gti 205, I found it lacking in excitement. It sounds great, it goes well enough and yours isn't falling apart every day. I expected incredible performance and jaw dropping speed. Does it live up to that?.... No. I suppose you could equate it to a "cult" following. It doesn't excite me, but I love the car, noise and the way it can power past other cars (sometimes), it's also not THAT common and I'm forever getting thumbs up from people that overtake, hear it and complaints from old dears in

    Is this a special block for the vr6 or does it, as I think, just mean, the block without the head? I've sourced a block (short block) that has had a big end bearing go and I need some more advice lol. This will be for my rebuild, by the way. Cheers in advance.

    When buying a new set of fast road cams, is it a must to replace the lifters? I'm buying a set of fast cams soon, but I also know that a set of lifters will also put the price up by another 150 - 200 squid. I can only see uneven lifter surface wear, naffing the cam lobes but would it only be slight or cause short cam life?

    Low milers for me..... HAH I bought an 80k VR back in 2008. After buying it as a non runner, I spent £400 putting it right myself. In the year it has been driving, a further 4k has been spent on just repairing worn part, engine falling out, collisions with badgers and other road users. So, buying a 1k low miler has cost me 7k in one year...ins, tax, parts inc.........exc petrol.
