  1. I'd have to say 205 GTI with Mi16 conversion. I drove one twice with carbs and a chap hammering a scooby 4x4 could not leave me. Other than that? Lancia Delta Intergrale.....
  2. Looking forward to seeing this.... though I hope he isn't expecting it to be another World Championship to him.
  3. There is no offense intednded with this post but I found this funny. Remember, this is supposed to be taken in good humor. You have been warned, so any offense taken and directed back at me for posting this will result in copious amounts of smirking and laughter that offense takers ignored the warning. Chav characteristics 1, Driving about in modified cars...often with: A) Tin cans attatched to to the exhaust to enable everyone for miles around to hear gear changes and acceleration carried out by the CHAVS in 1L engined cars.....wow....just..wow. A spoiler, the name says it all. CHAVS ARE r
  4. Righty. Me and sarah have 10th August as her due date. I know it's not even 2010 yet, but I wondered what date approx the weekend would be. I'm probably guessing it will clash with the due date. If it doesn't, then I'll be sweet talking sarah and driving off either way to the aquadrome lol.
  5. Nige, thats pretty spiffing. Is it just me or did this Sundays top gear seem very laid back and boring? I talk of course of the Art gallery. This must be one of the most boring I've seen. I guess because they always do daft things I've come to expect it. Hopefully next weeks? Will be a goodun.
  6. Too late. It's already started my beer guzzling neighbour Besides, I saw a 16ver earlier with a less than tacky kit. No halfords or cheapo stuff slapped onto it. Didn't have an aeroplane spoiler either. It looked a bit much, but not enough for me to look at and vomit.

  8. Assasins creed....pffft. I've never been a fan of it. COD2 I will be looking into. Forza 3 will be a must. Got to see what VW's can get my hands on lol.
  9. Try not to embarrass the Audi too much Jim
  10. It wont foul the chassis leg on removal. Unless you use it as a pivot point for a bar or something to ease it off. If it is the original, it will usualy be very stiff to remove with the 2 bolts removed. You could be a lucky one though....just squirt some WD40 onto the bolt links to the engine and give it a lil bit.
  11. Same as RAPgolfvr6182 states. If it hasn't already come off, you're going to need a lot of force to remove it after the bolts have been removed. Even with Lithium grease or copper slip, you still need a hell of a force to put the alternator back on...if you're unlucky. Easiest way if you've a very stuck alternator is to remove the front of the car like I do for front engine work. Only takes me about 11 minutes to remove/replace everything.
  12. Thats mine lol. Best bit is... 1.40 min and on Unfortunately, it was night time and my girlfriend was doing the camera work...... just the noise lol.
  13. Jim's quicker lol. I like the golf. Cna always make a golf that quick.... lol
  14. Before I had my problems, I managed to rape a 182 sport down a 3 mile road filled with islands. My car was sat low as hell with spare wheel and rear seats removed and it was dry cold night. Also decat, cai and filter, zorst.
  15. *cough*going turbo*cough* I'm easily satisfied lol. Though more power is very tempting. The reason shiney shiney bores me is because I've so many oil leaks on the old engine, that the engine bay is covered....envy lol.
  16. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit Drinking with you lot = great shiney shiney = yawn
