Hi guys, Yesterday my VR6 started to sound like a tank. A look underneath revealed a hole in the cat at the back end, The hole looks like it is meant to be there but is just blowing out gases and wrecking my fuel economy! My lambda sensor is intact and working, any ideas what this hole is and how to fix it cheaply? Cheers

Hi, The schedule says it requires Oil and filter Air Filter Spark Plugs Brake fluid change Pollen filter Coolant Change and a general check of the vehicle including greasing doors etc.

Hi guys, I have just purchased my first VR6 having lusted after them for some time. I have a completely standard 97 3 door highline and am delighted with the performance and condition of the car. I must warn you that I am not in the least mechanicaly minded and enjoy driving and not tinkering with cars, I prefer to let the professionals do the tinkering! Doing my research prior to buying, numerous sites say that you can expect 31mpg on a motorway run but mine didnt do better than 26mpg on a recent, relatively sedate 5 hour motorway drive.
