I think it seems to be coming from the top of the engine, im gonna buy sum new oil and oil filter, see how that goes and maybe get it pressure tested

Hi guys ive just completed my Mk2 VR6 conversion and ive come across a problem the car was a bit smokey when i first got it fired up, i changed the oil and filters and took it out the other day for my first drive in it, did around 50 miles in it and it has a slight knocking noise to it around 1000rpm to 2000rpm i looked at the oil from the dip stick and its black ish and seems thin to the touch oh and the blue ish smoke has come back again, bit gutted to be honest coz i was looking forward to driving it this year, hope u guys can help me Billy

Hi guys i have a Mk2 Golf with a VR6 conversion Im after replacing my coolant top hose from the rad into the housing on the side of the block does anyone know what size it in diameter, im using a Corrado rad Cheers Billy :-p
