  1. I know what you mean about the ring, went 2007 and 2008 with a mates car. Think its time I took my own lol Just not keen on the breaks fading like they did the other day! Cheers thou guys, think I'm gonna uprate the discs and pads atm, less messing around and prob as good as going to OE 288's!
  2. I'm running standard 280mm vented brakes on my 95 vr6 Golf, but I had a bit of a play with an A3 and By the time we had to stop I noticed my brakes (ci) like hell. I want to take my car to the ring next year, but I know with the standards brakes, I'll either die or trash my car ;( Just wondering what I can do to uprate the brakes as am on a budget. Have thought of maybe going to 288mm brakes from the obd2's or even 312mm from the v6/octavia vrs? Any other ideas I've missed or may do better for me would be appreciated
  3. Cheers guys, am chuffed to f*#k with the work those guys did. Just got the head lights and fogs for exterior, then its on with the mods (6)
  4. It took two weeks, but here it finally is Part debadged, new grill, smoothed trim, oe spoiler fitted and colour coded, full respary (all dents removed and rusted parts replaced) £900. Just got to fit the new chin spoiler and its pretty much done before I change the headlights, fogs and side repeaters. Hope you like?
  5. Not long bought a Mk3 VR6 in dragon green. 12 Years old and 115k. Its in need of some TLC and toning down, so its gonna be a bit of a project! Zender Spoiler (along with England badge, both of which I hate!), bad paint job on the plastic trims, Borbet 17's on atm, Other than that a straight motor with very little needing doing! Couple of 'Before' shots And a couple with my mates Mk2VR6 conversion! Its going into the bodyshop weds to tone it down and tidy it up. Will post pics when its done! It will be great again!
  6. I've just bought a 1995 Mk3 Golf VR6 which is idling at 1000rpm and both fans are running almost constantly. Coolant temp stays at 90 and oil 78-86. Any ideas what this might be and how I can rectify it?
