Thanks for quick answer! I read it and it doesn't really answer my question. Are there any real advantages of an ODB2 car versus an ODB1. Of course is an younger car better when it comes to wear and use/abuse. I'm planning on renovate the engine and do some bodywork anyway. Suspension, brakes and so on... Should I spend the extra £ for an ODB2, and is it worth it? /MikeD

So I'm on the lookout for an VR6. Pref. with low milage and so young as possible.... The -92 I looked at had 117000km on the meter and goes for £2000. No fancy, just a stock VR6. Other later models goes for double the £ with the same mileage. Is the ODB2 models worth the extra money? What are the pros and con with ODB1 and ODB2? Thanks! /MikeD
