  1. My dream would be to do this with a Rallye but had this car for 7 years so the base was basically free.
  2. I'm using Powerflex black series bushes in R32 cast wishbones. Standard arb's for now as I have Gaz Gold coilovers with 400lbs springs. Maybe I will upgrade in future but for now my concentration is getting the car going.
  3. No problem. Message me on here or on my mobile 07802543850 if you need any help.
  4. What are your plans? If you are doing a small turbo kit build should be much quicker than mine. Let me know if you need any help.
  5. I have sent it to Hangar 30 in Cambridge for the 8.5 spec roll cage but the rest of the work I do at home in the North East
  6. More progress on the cage Can't wait to get this thing back
  7. Appreciate all input guys, thanks for your interest and support [emoji41]
  8. Yeh, that's the plan [emoji3] I want to know the car inside and out and taking a back seat on any part of the project is not an option. I know a guy who has a rolling road and will be helping, but want to be part of all of it.
  9. Final time to get rid of the hugely heavy OMP bolt in seat mounting frame. Even after chopping to bits to get low enough they still weigh a tonne.
  10. Trans tunnel extended to provide more room for twin 3" downpipes. Box thingy made to mount the Tilton 600 series pedal box.
  11. Spare wheel removed to save some weight Bars added for rear subframe strength Nice flat base for my charge cooler ice tank and fuel cell.
  12. Front end fitted with new Genuine R32 front bumper and SRS-tec fibreglass wings.
  13. Thanks, Spoke to lee and he thinks I will be ok as I'm 4motion. I know what your saying that amount of torque and FWD is not a good combo. It will be interesting to see how far I can take the R32T.
  14. I'm running R32 crank so will not be revving as high as Ecko and Lee. If the supertech valves cause any problems then I will just switch to Ferrera. Had them on my old 12v but where just a bit too pricey for me right now with having the whole car to build. I know the turbo is rated at a touch over 1100bhp but plan to run Nitrous at the same time. I'm under no impression that my build will be a fit and forget project and will evolve constantly. Already looking at what will go into the next motor that will be on standby. The only reason I went 42 is I was planning on building a street car t
  15. Hi Kieron, Aiming for 1000 whp so around 1200 engine. From speaking to people with similar power I should be ok as long as I don't go wild on the cams and start chasing high revs. Would love to know your experience as you sound concerned.
  16. Hi, I got from P-motorsport but he just sourced for me as a favour. Andreas makes them at www.horsepowerjunkies.at/
  17. My old one was C2 motorsport but I had problems with the gearbox mount flexing. I think if you speak to Don Octane or Turbo Glockel in Germany they have some well tested designs
  18. Extra weight is worth thinking about as well, those transfer boxes ain't light. I just can't see the gain outweighing the benefit. I drove with the 2wd adapter plate with no lsd for 2 years and never really had any issues.
  19. I see your idea but it reality it does not make sense. You will have to custom fabricate a downpipe to clear the transfer box for very little gain. If you don't have an lsd you will still end up spinning one wheel.
