    Wouldn't say a ballache. Stripping your brakes down isn't to difficult. The problem and time consuming part for me was actually removing the original sensor and replacing it with the new one.

    Great to see you all had an enjoyable day. I'm gutted I couldn't make it. Managed to fix 2 of the 3 problems on the golf yesterday though so things are looking good. Roll on Easter.

    As said, if they're well maintained I can't see it being too much of a problem.

    Could possibly be the sensor. I purchased one through a friend that works for Audi along with a number 3 HT lead and they cost me £66 for the two about 3 days ago and did it yesterday. Had to strip the whole of the rear drivers breaks and rmove the shocker to fit it as well.

    Thanks guys. The VAGCOM's you see for sale on ebay from China and the USA for £20 or so. Are they a no no! If so where else can I purchase one or get one done? Thanks

    Yeah, checked the exhasut and everything is fine with it as it's recently had a new one fitted

    SInce I purchased my VR6 it has been stuttering a bit and has gradually got worse! Today I was driving it and go to about 80 on the motorway and it was just so juddery and stuttering it was unbearable really. Also had a few pops also from somewhere, could that be the cat that's gone? It's had a service 2000 miles ago so can't be that needs doing. I'm new to the watercooled thing so i'm still trying to find my feet really. Anybody any ideas? Thanks in advance.
