well i hope you are right i am about to purchase this 90000 miles head for £100 just was unsure if there were different heads that wouldn't fit also will i need to get this skimmed before fitting it what is a guide price for skimming

i have been offered a highline obd2 cylinder head and was wondering if this would fit straight on to the obd1 is there any differences

gav how much of the head did you change did you have new valves,valve springs ect where did you get your parts from i am going to rebuild my head and probably bottom end

thanks for your help guys, so what are you doing to your engines then a rebuilt or just a service or something else, if a rebuild what are you changing and how much for all the parts you got. i'm planning on changing everything on the head and little of bit of the bottom end i will post pictures when i start next week maybe even a few guides

hi i am going to be attempting to remove the engine from my obd1 vr6 and rebuilt it myself i have alot of mechinal experience just wondering if somebody on here has any hint tips or guide that i might find useful

hi just a quick question i have a vr6 obd1 and had a few problems with the cooling system is it correct that at 95 degres the aux pump starts then at 105degres the fan kick it this seems a bit hot to me please let me know if this is correct.

hi i have just got a vr6 and was told that the tempature sensor was faulty thats why i wasn't gettinga reading of the tempature inside the car. So today off to vw to get a new tempature sensor got home replaced that then ran the car so it was warm still nothing then realised that neither did the fan cut it i'm now starting to get worried. I noticed that the wiring going into the plug for the tempature sensor has been rewired think maybe it was been wired incorrectly can anyone please tell me what color wire should go to what pin number i am talking about the 4 pin one not the 2 pin tempature s
