Well I bought my Scorpion cat back system from a friend who had it on his mk3 GTI 8v and it fitted straight on, a week or so later when he found the receipt and gave it to me it said the exhaust was a VR6 one so I guess they all have the same mountings.

Could be the thermostat housing, this is quite a common failure on VR6's mine went a month back but didnt piss out like you say it just started dripping and steadily got worse. Here is an article about the thermostat housing which may help.

hi there I guess your talking about the oil breather valve?? Mine broke and I ziptied it together till i got my replacement. :$ Not sure if it causes any oil pressure loss, but certainly hasnt caused any problems or damage and this happened 2 months ago. I got my replacement from a Ford garage off a galaxy v6 as I was told you had to buy the pipe it is connected to aswell if purchased from a VW dealer. Anyway here is the Ford part number 7364573 total cost was £24.98 Hope this helps
