flipper

i have got a 96/97 golf it will start but not run. it fires every time runs for about two seconds then dies . any ideas please thanks in advance

do they have two oxygen sensors? as there is one at the front of the cat ..

the exhaust in my 96 vr started blowing today, had a look and there is what looks like i hole for a sensor or something towards the rear of the cat on the drivers side ,can someone advise as to what this is ................................ thanks rich..
