    OBD2 does not have a seperate isv like the OBD1 ... have you had the throttle body off ??? if so let the car idle for about 3-4 to try and re-set it ..... th eidle will be rough but should smooth out

    either the pick up ring is missing or broken they sometimes crack and dont grip so they wont turn to give the signal or there is a broken wire somewhere in the loom

    rear is 24mm and the front is either a 30mm or 32mm

    i would use arp head bolts as they are stronger and re-usable .... will have no probs running low comp on a N/A engine i done it for atlesat a year ull just find the power band is higher up the revs .....piston rings id go for VW ones or new pistons .... as for the head if you want it all done and running in one weekend then id go for a recon head .... hope this helps
