    does this help ??? Control box red wire This is for 12V+ power. It taps into the thick wire in the ECU loom that that goes to ECU Pin 23. This wire is red/blue on OBD1 cars and Black/yellow on OBD2 cars. Control box black wire This is the ground wire. It taps into the thick brown wire in the ECU loom that goes to ECU pin 1 (all models) Control box blue wire This is the wire for the RPM signal.     i dont normally drain them if anything i put them in a tub of fresh oil to get them to refill ..... should see bubbles and the dirty oil come out of them ....

    well tbh in my eyes its not worth getting a vr re mapped unitll you have say cams and a schrick manifold as you wont feel the gains for the £££ ull spend

    i got some red top injectors ( but will come in a up grade kit for a vortech chager ), the 6 branch, boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, also got a 312mm brake set up off a mk4 ......
