    Thanks again people, in the end there was no hole, that was an opinion of a VW mechanic.... so wrong. New gasket sort of sorted, still blowing,but maybe it has warped, or maybe needs two gaskets, or tightened up when hot as that is when it starts to blow, will have another go at it. Thanks all

    Hiya, just a long shot. My daughters MK3 1.4 golf has developed a hole in the exhaust manifold, is there anyone around oxford willing to have a go at repairing/welding it? £155 for a new OEM part!!! Cheers in advance people

    mine does that too but only sometimes, engine off, ignition on and it works fine.... Does it work ok when you get out the car with the windows open and then put key in door, lock and hold? All undone windows and sunroof should close.

    Sorry for not being able to make it last minute guys, I woke up two hours late and then saw a text that my daughter had come home suddenly from Spain, so thought it best to go home to see what was going on..... All was well in the end....Next time!!!!!

    Thanks for the offer of the wheel bearing change, but really not sure it is them anyway, they have only done about 25K and whining only happens between 40 and 50, odd. Anyway, it's good to live on the edge. My exhaust is about to give up too haha!! Brilliant, what time at Rownhams? Remember I am coming from Bristol with a hangover...... :-)

    I'm still in, will be coming back from near Bristol but yep, up for it if loads are gonna be there, a trip round swanage would be good! (Just hope the whining noise at the rear of me car isnt the wheel bearings about to go as have about a 300 mile run this weekend!! Lemme know!! And thanks for offering to meet me at the same place I nearly found first time last time!! haha!! Will be out of contact from about 5 tomorrow night so will check here tomorrow

    Q&A from http://www.clifford.co.uk/Support/FAQ.aspx I've lost my owner's manual OR bought a car that already has a Clifford system but no manual. You may utilize our online Owner's Guide search in the Support section of this website, or simply call in to your local Clifford Dealer, they will be able to determine which system you have installed, and will then be able to order the correct owner's manual for the system. Simples!!
