This really costs a fortune doesn't it!! ABS sorted New Discs and pads all round Oil/filter change New HT leads and plugs New wheels and tyres K&N Decat pipe Getting it lowered tomorrow and fitting different back box New stuff so its running at the right coolant temperature Wife aint talking to me anymore Priceless!!!!! SO ready for it now!!!!!! 7 days time, we will be there :-)

Was good to meet you at the GTI fest, was a good day, daughter liked it too, believe she is going to be a car nut too..... unsure if that is good or bad...., SO looking forward to going in less than two weeks now!! 12 days to go!!!!

No Autobahns!! Darn :-) Thanks for the on the spot fines advice.... Need all the cash I can get to get some laps in! Will be coming with my brother in law, we have opted to stay on a hotel after someone mentioned on here that it snowed last year!! brrrr!! Would be good to catch up en route, will see how it goes Maybe I could get someone's mobile number on Sunday to keep in touch on the journey? See you Sunday!!

Great, cheers for all that info I won't be seeing you on the ferry as am going on the Chunnel a bit later, so possibly catch you at a meeting point somewhere, we'll see how it goes Will have a read up on the ring and how to use it properly! Thanks to all the offers of advice, it's appreciated OK, looking likely I will be going to the GTI fest anyway, guess I will hang around another VR6 until someone turns up to talk to me! Anyway, what I would like to know before getting to the ring.... Will it be posted on here of where you will be stoping en route? Hoping to catch up with you all and go in convoy Track insurance, does anyone know how much and if its worth it? Have heard rumours that the barriers cost 5000 euros per metre to repair! Have my K&N filter on now, is it me or is my car quicker now...???? Steering leak fixed, getting brakes and discs renewed tomorrow and getting de cat pipe measured up, Does anyone have a ball park figure of how long it will take to get there from Calais at say 70mph average speed? I'm thinking about 8 hours, am I anywhere near right? I wont be able to go on the boat as am coming back from holiday on the Friday morning so will see you there
