Thanks to the goth for this info, find it hard to believe the 1997 figures especially for Auto's. Been looking for a decent 3 dr manual in purple and 4 I went after turned out to be 1997 R Autos. guess they could have been pre registered?! Interesting though, i bet a lot have disapeared over the years in joy riders hands or into ditches.........

Does anyone actually know how many VR Highlines were registered in UK? If so howabout by 3dr or 5dr, Auto or Manual and Purple or Black? While i am on now they are getting a bit older how about a register? maybe we could incorporate into this site then you could enter your own car if you wanted?

Only just joined and had car a week but would love to come on stand on the Sunday if there's room! Am aiming on getting there saturday evening and camping, suppose will have to get polishing now too if there's room :-)
