  1. i'm probably wrong, but i think 'spit n polish' are not too far from you. You'll find many tyre fitting places have deals with refurb companies and will send them off for you...
  2. popular with the bmw boys i think. I think they're an off-shoot company of Leda suspension which is good, well made english stuff.
  3. I took a load of photo's while doing my suspension (SSK kit), and have written up the process. Its pretty straightforwards all you need is a few tool and time. http://blackgolfgti.blogspot.com Hope its of use , and if you spot anything obviously wrong, let me know. cheers, Greg
  4. i do have a hammer and a chisel cheers for the info though.
  5. Conti SCII's are more progressive (better) in the wet imho. F1 GSD's are slightly grippier in the dry. Both last about the same.
  6. Reason i'm asking is that i've bought a koni adj. sport suspension kit which i'm going to fit (myself) on friday, i thought i'd be a good time to do the bushes (if poly = easy) too...
  7. How are the poly (powerflex?) bushes different so that they can just slide in, where the VW ones are a pain to get in and ideally require a tool? I want to change mine as there is a little sideways movement. If i bought the poly bushes what would i need to do to fit em?
