    Funny isnt it mate, dont get me wrong, i loved the scooby, very useful, was a wagon with good ride height, good for fishing, speed bumps never a problem!, i am glad i have done it, and enjoyed it, but now its time for me too grow up (a little), and get a quality car, that oozes style!.

    i'm just selling my scoob to buy a vr, had it nearly 4 years, modified it for 3 years, really miss my old vr though, thats why im getting another!.

    I managed to do mine from below with the car on axle stands (my memory is terrible, Jack Daniels abuse when i was younger i put it down too!), it was quite easy, big socket, cant remember the size, minimal oil loss, (this was about 5 years ago!), i just remember being told when tightening it back up, just to pinch it, dont overtighten!, i must have had an old thread on here at that time about it, will have a look.

    Thers quite a lot of highline spec vr6's out there, all factory options added on these cars that are not highlines but nearly!.

    The typhoon is very good, but the F22 towers over it multi-role. No matter what plane i was in, i would not want to go up against the typhoon, or the rafale, or the gripen come to think of it!.

    Well here i find myself, back on this old great site, just about secured the sale of my Impreza today, and itching to get back into a well built dub, only one i'm after and thats a nice VR6, unfortunately my old VR got written off by the bloke i sold it too!. I have had a look on ebay, pistonheads, and on here but cant really find what i'm looking for, where is the best place to look for a nice VR for sale?, i will try to be patient!. My old VR was dragon green, would like a dusty mauve or maybe a mint mulberry highline, 3 door all the way, would like one nicely modified in true dub oe style,

    as the title says, the selector when in aircon mode gets very hot, i guess it is probably on its way out maybe? are they hard to swap? or do you have any other suggestions what might be causing it?

    I know that spark plugs are just spark plugs really, but if i buy some nice new leads i moght as well buy some nice new shiny plugs, wot do you lot recommend on herr please??

    found an oil leak around this pipe the other day (top pic) i am sur it should not be covered in oil, any thoughts please?, also this part appears to be damaged to me, (bottom pic) can anyone tell me what it is? what it does ?, part no etc any help greatly appreciated thankyou

    hi antera, i tried it with the key, and it does still work with all the windows, and strangely now it works with the fob again!, can anyone explain why this might be to me please?

    jetex are a good fit, subtle sounding, and well priced , and it does sing at high revs! i am using a catback system with a ramair maxflow filter, and it does sound very nice deep and is not too loud at all
