  1. I have 2 spare complete hose sets if you need.
  2. Pull the head off and post some pics of the gasket surfaces of the deck and head and also the gasket itself where the split is.
  3. Cheers Shaun. Not sure what you get for all that money though!
  4. Whats your red line? I could just about hit 60 without the need to change at 7000rpm+. Mid range acceleration was amazing. I fitted a 0.71 5th also so 5th stayed the same as standard for cruising. As for 1/4 mile should in theory be better provided you can use 1st without lighting the tyres up.
  5. Get th Vortex forums. Ive read people have just left the prop drive and its been fine and others say that you have to remove. When you find out can you let me know, thanks.
  6. Check the blue plug is plugged in on the front where the thermostat is, if it is then I reckon its the blue sensor itself.
  7. 139 unless its a 180 but I doubt it.
  8. You do have the advantage of AWD I guess.
  9. Probably the limit though, but better efficiency and marginal off boost driveability.
  10. Looks good! Is there no vibration damper on that crank pulley?
  11. Have you checked the grommet inside the tray on the drivers side. The bonnet release cable goes through it. It was leaking on mine, but to find it I removed the vent and looked for the trickle with a torch while I hosed her down!
  12. If you are running the correct spec'd intercooler you should run what the end tanks are. Anything under 350-400hp 2.5" will be fine. 3" is what you need for 600hp+. If you go too big you will loose throttle response and increase lag.
  13. Whats your maximum boost pressure? How much power?
  14. With off the shelf pistons 83.5mm but I guess you could go as large as 85mm but why?
  15. If its rings it will breath heavy from the crankcase. Have you done a compression test?
  16. Where is the smoke coming from? Breather, exhaust etc. Whats your mileage? I normally use a small socket maybe 9mm to gentle ease them on. If its done 120k plus you may be wasting your time as it will most likely be the valve guides. You can tell by excessive play when moving the valve left and right tolerence is quite slack though.
  17. No way, Andy is way ahead of me and always points me in the right direction. You have to admire that inlet too.
  18. To be honest there is not much point the 3.6 one Im going to use will be more than up to the job. Even with the extra power I doubt it will ever go over 106-108 and I only use it on the road so its unlikely I will cook it.
