Having read the threads, it is clear that having an eibach roll bar is the way to go. What want to do is dive the VR6 great handling, but without having to have my insurance go through the roof. Lowering springs are an obvious mod & i'll never get away with it if the vehicle is inspected (heaven forbid) if it gets nicked or crashed. I realise lowering the car is as much about visual looks as performance. Would 16" alloys & the brace be a good compomise?

I really like these VW Golf V ,Imola 16" alloy wheels http://i19.ebayimg.com/04/i/04/4f/ae/2d_2.JPG But I believe the PCD is not compatible with the VR6. Do they produce these style for the MK3 or can you buy adaptors to make them fit? :|
