  8. As above sorry to here about your acident. I would consider getting the work done, find a decent garage (not VW) nearby and get them to look at it, there is a guy called Adrian who is breaking a VR6 and has all the front grill bumber, bonnet in excellent condition at good prices, email him on ads@aphex.co.uk as I can't aford to spend any more money on my motor (over 2k rebuilding my engine), good luck!

  10. My timing chain went last week and cost me a fortune as the cylinder head went, head gasket had to be done and valves and tapets had to be replaced. As you look down on the engine on the right side if there is a rattle I would get it done ASAP. otherwie start saving. The job for the timing chain is long due to the gear box has to be removed. The company that did mine are based in Berkshire off Jun 11 of M4 called Storm Developments.

I can't wait to get the car back i've only had the car 6 weeks and it's been in the garage for around 2 of those so it will be good to finally get the car running like it should. all I need to do now is replace the alloys as one has a dent in from the previous owner, the other is to look at a full respray not sure on colour yet and finall to ad leather and remove the current upholstery.
