  1. To be honest i dont think any of the induction kits give any real performance gains. In my experience they may give a couple more horses higher up the rev range but you lose out in the torque department. Only reason I still run my BMC filter is because it sounds faster! !lol For performance your probably better off sticking a K&N panel filter in the std airbox. Matt :-)
  2. VR6 motor is a hot unit anyway. Wouldnt worry about anything between 100-110 degrees. I get around 118-120 when pushing hard or 'cruising' at 120mph ;-) Think oil cooler is way to go, I will get one for increased engine life.
  3. Kev would there be any benefit getting one of the polished bored throttle bodies off ebay for my 2.9 Corrado then? Or is it going to make no difference? Nice spec car by the way, pretty much my dream spec, although I worry about more than 230bhp throughthe front wheels even with the LSD. Matt :-)
  4. Right nice one sold! After 2 years I'm fed up of going slower with Koni's on on my local roads than when I had std knackered suspension! Thanks again Matt :-) P.S Sorry for all the questions but while I'm at it (and as you appear to have my dream spec) how do the 17 inch wheels affect ride/handling. I would say acceleration as well, but I guess you dont really need to worry about that! :-))
  5. Thanks for that useful stuff :-) Also I have decided my Koni Eibach comni is just too hard for the Peak District roads. How supple are the H&R springs on rough roads? Thanks again Matt :-)
  6. Germany :-) Have you got one fitted, I am also a bit worried that I will be a bit underwhelmed by the increase in torque. I understand that unlike the Schrick it doesnt increase horsepower at all? Matt :-)
  7. Cheers mightyvr6 I see you have 248 cams. Was thinking about getting the same along with the VSR. How do you get on with them? Did you have them fitted before the charger. Any idling probs or is that just on the 268's? Any opinion would be great. Matt :-)
  8. Hope someone can help. Just bought a VW VSR Manifold for my Corrado. But thinking about I bet these are OBD1 only arent they???? And I am pretty sure my 1995 Corrado VR6 is OBD2 is it not??? Can anyone put my mind at rest either way? Thanks Matt :-)
