    I have an auto and it is nice to drive, still very fast and nice easy driving. However as they say auto's seem to have problems , mine at 60K miles is starting to get sticky when it locks up in top gear. Nothing major but a nuisance at times,. I imagine it will be expensive to fix, since almost anything requires box out and if you do that you may as well refurb. So more likely to have to fork out on an auto box but it is nice lazy driving and you can do over a ton in 3rd if you want to.

    Does anyone know what controls the kickdown on Auto VR6. Flooring the pedal must cause a signal to be sent to ECU, any chance it would be the potentiometer on the throttle body??

    I have just put Koni adjustable suspension , 30mm drop on at softest setting and it seems pretty good. Firm but quality ride. Have not done many miles and it had original 11 year old suspension on previously so I suppose anything would be an improvement. However it does seem pretty good.

    I am changing inlet manifold anfd throttle body fitting enlarged , flowed TB and 2.9 manifold and new Milltek exhaust. I am assuming the ECU will reset itself automatically, am I correct.

    Best place to get the bentley manual is Amazon , on ebay they mostly go for higher than the Amazon prices.

    Just got mine done, Stealer reckoned it would have a chip, but I was sure it didn't since I have a separate transponder for the aftermarket Cobra alarm/immobiliser etc. Anyway got a key cut at local shop for £4.20 and it works. Suppose it depends if you have the standard fitted transponder.

    I am fitting a 2.9 inlet manifold , polished enlarged throttle body and Miltek exhaust to my OBD1. Would it be best to get a remap , will it make significant difference or will standard map be OK

    Do you need to cut the bump stops when lowering any height , ie say 30mm or 40mm or is it just when you go to 60mm and above
