    Ive seen mine touch 100 once. Usually 96- 98. Strange but since using a thicker oil in my VR 15W 40- the oil temperature has gone up. When i was using Castrol RS 0w 40 oil temp never went higher than 86!!!

    To open up the headlight you need to take the metal clips off. You can prise it apart with a decent flat blade screwdriver- no need to heat it up. It sealed with a pliable puttylike substace - cant remember what its called. Anyway best get some more before you reseal just to make sure you get it watertight :-)

    The normal RAMAIR is around 70 quid. I think the big mothers aabout 150.....

    Ive been thinking about doing the same thing, car body filler is ok to use- thats what a bodysop would use cos its only a thin line. A friend whos really good with bodywork stuf told me that id need to drill holes along the indented lip though, so when you fill it the filler plugs up into the holes so you make it stick and stop it from cracking when it flexes....

    Yeah ive got shit loads of swirl marks on mine- tried T Cut a while ago but its too fine- id be there forever by hand..... ive just bought the Meguiars clay bar stuff on the net. So ill try that first and if that fails i might try the G6 rubbing compound as SankysVR6 seems to have used it with good results... Looking in Auto Express this week theyve done a huge group test on waxes and polishes- some very interesting results - especially one called Rain Guard - got 5 out of 5 and only 5 quid!!! Also Turtle Way Gloss Guard seems pretty shit hot too....

    I had a RAMAIR on my old VR and i do think for some reason the noise was even more awesome than the K&N..... Maybe its just fond memorys of my old motor :-)

    Alright buddy :-) So is the sebring a 3 piece or 2 piece exhaust - ie have you just the backbox, or backbox and centre section? (Ive had 3 different SS exhausts now and 1 has been a 2 piece and the others 3 piece) Seems strange you bought just the two bits seperately, unless you bought it cheap ;-)

    Thnankd guys. Think ill get them both then. May get a polisher as well Pete- but i know youve got to be careful with those things- can take the paint/ lacquer off especially on edges and the like...

    Ive got a K&N which sound awesome- but the best one to go for is the BMC carbon shileded induction kit @ £150. Noworries about sucking in so much hot air then and losing torque.....

    Whats the best stuff to use for removing swirl marks? Ive looked on the meguiers site and noticed 2 products: Scratch X Quik clay detailing system? I need to do the whole car so which one (or other product) do you recommend?? Cheers :-)
