    nothin wrong with the gmax kit though bud, i bought a kit for my first VR, and if your on a budget you cant go wrong :-)

    it is do-able- anyone remember the mk 2 vr turbo syncro???? was a couple of years iirc although i bet the clearance between the transfer box and the bottom of the rhd rack is tight.....

    yeah but to be fair look how much work jay has had done including guids as well! personally i dont think thats a bad price at all mate- and the polishing was fair too- i paid 90 for the inlet manifold to be polished and mine wasnt done completely! Basically you have a new top end bud, bottom end is always strong so nothin to worry about on that front! i need a new rack too.. but lets be honest - your cars a minter and its worth spending the money on. If you bought a new car for say 20k youd lose at least double that in a year :-)

    My first car was a D reg Astra 1.2. It was pants- i even had to fibreglass the wins to hide the rust lol managed 110 in it though (down a very steep hill) and it was pretty scary!

    My first mk 16vin royal blue which had everthing done to it by me.... bodywork wasnt the best but engine and chassis were top notch... and then my first '96 VR in indian red which i had to sell as it was costing me to much to run - and a bigger kick in the teeth was that i had spent around a grand on it on mods in 3 months... had it for 6 months in total and really gutted i had to sell- evertime i saw a VR id think of my one...

    hi jay- it might possibly get a little white (condensed water) but you want get half as much as when you're burning oil or overfuelling mind you if the system is pressurising you'll soon tell when you look at the anti freeze reservoir. and the cossie was dated but it was the only car to crack 200- i bet that was scary!

    keep it mate- you'll deffo regret it - when i sold my first one i was gutted for about 12 months- this was the amount of time it took me to finally get another one :-) (and then another ;-))
