Hi all, has anyone ever removed the seat belt buckles before? I mean take them apart? I need get inside the black casing but dont know if its a simple case of prising it apart or whether the 2 halfs are glued together????

im in gloucester but im from caerphilly. Used to go to uni in swansea - so know the mumbles mile well, also barons and the like ;-) my best mate still lives down there so i occasionally go down there for a tipple or two ;-) Cant fault it for a night out though :-D You'll have a blast :-D You dont need me to tell you that though!!! And its sooo cheap :-D

Data Centre Development Engineer (sounds posh lol) - always not enough ;-) My first IT job i was earning about 18k and managed a VR- but i started to do a lot of mileage so i had to sell it... Now i have a company car so if the VR goes tits i dont have to worry about how im getting to work!

yeah for that kind of money there would be a lot of different cars i would want- and the vxr wouldnt be in the list... It may be fast, however all the magazines have driven it, and a lot of other performance hatches- the focus st seems to be the pick at the moment. Not my preference;- id rather have the golf gti- but i would be biased as im a vw man....

think 3.0 is ok- no more though- the cylinder walls will become too weak... Bentley manual is the daddy of vr6 guides.... 30 quid from amazon iirc

RObert, i think its safe to say, if you do not answer people - you obviously intended to rip people off in the first place. Does anyone live close by to go over there??? If i lived closer by i would myself!!!!!

the grommet ive found is about 10mm in diameter (this has nothing going through it) and it is quite high compared to the others (there is a big plastic blanking plate next to it) Is this the one you mean? I can see the lower wiring loom large grommet from inside but not this one. You may get a call in a bit Justin lol

Hello all- just trying to suss out where to feed my amp power lead into the bulkhead and cant see anywhere obvious.... Funny thing is i run one into my old mk3 16 a few years back and had no problem.... memory like a goldfish!!! Those who have, where have you run it through??? Cheers :-)

bad news jay :-( the garage who does all th work on my car (and race 2 vr6' in the VW cup) also say the bottom end is bullet proof on the VR6- rings are never an issue - only when they get to high mileage or have been poorly serviced... It has to be the head mate.... 66k car and its mint too... Unless you take it somewhere else- get them to tell you the head is f*cked and then get your money back from the garage who did the work... not easy really if its your mate....

LM's are damn gorgeous man!! I did see a set of 17" LM's on a VR6 syncro (ABT tuned R32 lump in it) for sale on mobile.de a few months back- looked fanatastic!!!!
