    TSR do them completely built but expensive! better off geting your engine sorted by a competent mechanic and going the charged route. Around 2.5-3k for a supercharger fitted and running 270-280ish bhp... Although 240 std from an R32 engine would be lovely! the noise is fantastic too! :-)

    speaking of bargain fun my mates just bought an M535i on a C plate for a grand....:-D fsh from new!!!! 220 bhp and it goes very sideways very easily..... We looked at a carlton GSI 3000 and the rust on it was really bad- hardly any sills left at all. Shame - i loved these when i was younger, and wouldve been a great drift car for 500 quid :-D Keep looking mate, im sure one will come up... just test drive one first as i bet many have been abused and like my mates, it gave him no end of trouble. And at least if you test drive one you will know if you really want to sell your dub for one...

    nah i wouldnt say that about myself mate, as i like all types of cars, although preferably german. VR6's are great but they are far from the best cars on the planet! cavalier 4x4 turbo are good, but a frind of mine did own one and it was really unreliable- and he had to get rid of it in the end... cheap fun while it lasted though! :-) Have you thought about any other 4x4 turbos in your price range? old scooby wrx or something?

    i dunno i find the early VR with the arches looks dated- only one i truly like was mintys oak grren VR- that was lovely... think the later cars without the trims look cleaner- thats why a lot of people remove them imo... and when you remove the front washer jets from the bonnet you can attach them to the wiper ;-) I kind of know what you mean in some respects though- sometimes form over function takes precedence and that when it beocomes a little silly...like lowering your car sooo much you grind your sub frame down everytime you encounter an uphill gradient! but hey... we love it :-D ;-)

    ok, did you use blank centre caps to mount them nick? (as in no RH on them) How thick are the badges? or does the badge completely cover the RH font?
