had lots of VW's over the years, and my VR Syncro is my third VR - i was that desperate for a 3 door syncro i went to Germany to pick it up.

Jay - chuffed your motors running properly - lucky barsteward!!! :-) Tome really interesting what you have to say though as a mechanic friend of mine who does a lot of VW motorsport cars (i trust his judgement) has said exactly the same thing.

Nick - read your comments and really gobsmacked at a)how you feel and b)how stealth have treated you. You may feel really down right now, but get back on the case - you are so close to finishing a mental all out project that it would be stupid to throw in the towel now. Get it finished at least and see how it goes - if it aint to your satifaction then sell it. Thats one very rare setup you have there! I was feeling the same a month ago when the car was in bits and wasnt going anywhere - finally got it sorted and its all good now and well happy with the end result :-) Stick with it mate...

hey Mark - didnt you spot the Bora in the background??? pmsl..New Cross it is then ;-) Andys motor is sweet - goes sideways 90% of the time. Great fun. And definitely pimped - would like to se it slammed on BBS splits too, although the Alpina copies aint bad either :-)

Guys, i had an absolutely AMAZING time! The whole trip was great. Big thanks to Steve and Aswad for letting us tag along. The convoy was brilliant as we had radios all the way there and constantly kept in contact. Once we set up camp the guys couldnt resist a quick lap. ;-) Sunday was more of the same - Aswad has to win the fright ride award. Fair play he managed to keep a 911 GT3 within his sights an entire lap. Good driving mate! BIG thanks to Paul from VR6 club of Holland. HIC will insure you. They basically put it in the system as a mk3 golf with rallye 4wd. Paying 400 a year fully comp.
