  1. Hi Guys

I hope you are all well.

I would really appreciate some help finding the trim for the door pins on my VR6,  ( black leather interior, I am not sure if it matters).

I have spent a while searching and cannot find them as a separate part or for sale. Mk1 and Mk2 ones are available as a separate part.

If anyone has a couple for sale  please get in touch.

  2. Just had my highline welded up at wvs welding in Normanton it was as rotten as a pear.

Tony went above and beyond replacing 2 floor pans inner and outer sills and

repairing the chassis legs and a lot of other bits that needed attention

he did a first class job, the price was about what I expected to pay for 70 hrs work plus materials.

I was quoted £4000 by rust box restorations and ended up paying less than half that.

I would not hesitate to recommend his work.

  3. What part number is on your ecu I might have one

It seems like I've fried another ECU from jump starting again!

So I'm looking for one for sale. If anyone has one for a good price, I'm interested.

    Thanks

  4. That works out at 125 psi with the 8.5 to 1 ratio you are running
That's if we take the lowest acceptable stock compression of 145 psi. So your compression is a bit down. I always inspect and regrind the valves in when the engine milage is more than 100,000 that could make a difference to your compression
If not it's got to be the ring's
A leak down test is the way to go to determine where the compression is going
