  1. Thank you all, any more last minute sponsors?
  2. Hi guys, Im doing a 10k run for Cancer Research at Ashton Court in Bristol on the 30th September (this Sunday) and wondered if any of you kind and generous people would like to sponsor me for this very worthy cause? All sponsorship can be done online via the website at http://www.10ksponsorme.org/richardp which saves me having to collect the money and send it in. ;-) Id just like to point out I'm in no way a good runner and used to hate running until I started training for this so it has been a lot of effort already for me to take part in this run. Anyway thanks for your time and hope some of
  3. Are you really going to fully weld up the boot into the body? Thats just going to far IMHO. Just smooth the badge/wiper/handle and leave the number plate where its supposed to be, breaks up the back end. Maybe just smooth the textured lower part of the bumpers into the top part and paint as one piece too. Lees is more but not too much!

  5. Ill be there yeah but ill be camping. Why are you staying over in a hotel? How come you are taking the beast to Germany then?
  6. Just getting better and better mate. You bringing it to E38?
  7. Sounds like a similar problem to what I had a while ago.
  8. Sweet looking bora mate, what options have you got on it? Debadged grill would mean the bonnet would need welding up in the recess and repaint as well so debadging the front of a MK4 isnt that simple! :-(
  9. Yeah this thread has been done many many times before! Im currently on 166k miles and still going very strong!
  10. And you got a bloody bargain at that too! LOL
  11. Happy birthday for yesterday mate! Any photos of the R32?
  12. Nice one mate! What made you get a 5 door though? Funnily enough my birthday is at the end of the month and I may be getting a birthday present for myself too ;-)
  13. Yeah the RH's are on a nice black Corrado you commented on in readers rides! Ill definitely be going to E38, may have a different car by then ;-) Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread Paul! LOL
  14. Lack of money, distance to travel and getting a flat ready to let are the reasons why I couldnt make billing. Plus now that my RH's have gone Ive got a lack of enthusiasm for showing the VR. :-(
  15. Not VW/Audi fitment though as they are 5x110!
  16. Woo mate, looks spot on, wasnt sure about the red rocker cover but it really works with the strut brace and other details! Have to catch up at E38 mate for a few beers ;-) BTW just had to resize your photos as they were fouling up the forum.
  17. You need to be a premium member to upload pictures to the site, otherwise you need to host the file somewhere and link to it in a reply to your post.
  18. As long as you've got a deep pocket to upgrade everything else that might break then going for a rotrex is good for the amount of power it can produce,
  19. Ive seen a corrado over on the corrado forums running a rotrex charger but I believe he decided to remove it and sell it on as it was producing too much boost, causing stuff to break that needed replacing due to it not being strong enough.
  20. Was a lovely motor before the crash, I had a good look around it when Mike owned it at one of our rolling road days about 3 years ago. Think Mike has had a number of features, including a low MK2 (hence the same theme with the VR plate) IIRC. Glad you came out ok from the crash. You planning on putting the engine in a MK2 then? Definitely looks like a Trimsport rear brace, got one in mine. No longer made by Trimsport I believe and they are a perfect fit and fitment is easy. Rare to find now IIRC. ;-)
  21. Car looks stunning mate! BTW as a premium member you can upload the photos to the site and it automatically resizes them for you ;-)
