I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Jordi, located in Barcelona.
Just last summer I dragged an early, one-owner VR6 from a pig farm, after sitting there for 12 years...
I saw the car advertised for very very cheap, and bought it unseen. I just asked the owner if it ran, and it did, so that was good enough.
A week later a friend drove me there to pick it up (in a TT Mk1 3.2), just trusting a good old VR6 wouldn't let me down, specially at 42ºC...The drive home (200-ish kms) was mostly uneventful, just blown rear shocks that would stay fully compresse
