  1. Hi all been a member of the club for a couple weeks now and have realised I haven't posted anything about my vr6 build, so here goes! I've bought a 1997 mk3 golf vr6 for £550 so a bit of a bargain, when the shell is pretty solid apart from a couple rust patches, however it came with next to no interior a set of bucket seats rear brace and some sparco harnesses! So as you can imagine for someone who has never owned a VW before it was a bit of a daunting task but I like a challenge! So when getting the car I knew very little about it more off a punt if you l

  2. Thought I would post up some pictures of the wife's daily 1997 mk3 Golf VR6. Its a Highline and also an automatic, So far we have only done some maintenance work to make sure it all works right before we do any modifications. Having said that it does already have a full stainless system with 6 branch manifold and a set of coilovers. Plans will be fairly low key with it being a daily driver. Alloy Rocker Cover

For sale I have my old alloy rocker cover off my Corrado. Comes complete with studs and nuts (with the exception of the 2 nuts you will re-use nearest coil pack. Comes complete with stainless Steele mounts for the fuel lines. Could do with a bit of a wipe down, has previously been vapour blasted. Couple of the threads on the studs will need chasing as nipped them with mole grips when removing. £50 + P&P

  6. This may not be a very interesting post? Just thought I'd share it non the less. Took the wife's 3 door Mulberry Highline out for a run today to Southport and as we where nearing Southport I said to the wife that her VR was quite a bit of a rarity these days as there's not many 3 door Mulberries left on the road. Then no sooner had I said that than we passed a 5 door Mulberry VR on the main drag down into Southport. Was nice to see another VR (looked very nice) out and about today for sure, especially seeing as how the weathers a bit poo bob due to the time of year. So again, nice to see
