  3. I plan to build a vr lump up over the winter as well as get the shell up to par! Currently needs 2 new wings and 2 arches, also got a couple of sills as sure the rust will have affected them aswell. All parts are sat waiting on time in the bodyshop and also some funds. Had planned to possibly change the colour but think it will be staying Mystic blue, Alfa wheels are going Anthracite. Comments welcome.

  4. So, finally got the car running and took it for it's first test drive roll on the end of the month! I also gave her a celebratory wash!

    Lowering advice

I done mine when I done my engine swap so it was easy without the front end being on. But I'd say the easiest way of doing it with the front end on would be to unbolt the engine from the mount find a drill a millimetre or 2 bigger than the bolt and drill the centre of the puck. I used a flat bottom wood drill. Next get your trolley jack with a chock of wood on the sump and lift the front of the engine just enough to slide the puck in between the cross member and engine mount. Put the bolt through the top of the mount and slowly drop the engine back into place. Don't drop the engine fully thou

You can also raise the engine using hockey pucks on the mounts or swap the sump for a shallower r32 one.
