Hi I have not been on here for years. I have also not drove my Vr6 for over six months since I bought a new car(2008 R32). I Bought the VR6 on Feb 2006 with 55000 miles on the clock. It now has 130000 miles with 24000 done last year alone:-( I would not call it a car it is more it is more a part of me or an only child of mine. No mater what is going on the car has never let me down in 8 years, never broke down in 8 years. I can leave It parked up for months at a time jump the battery and of she goes. it still has the original clutch, timing chain etc. The interior has held well too.

New shoes on the whip today.. 16" 9j rears, 7.5j fronts..

Hi everyone! I had a Chilli Red VR6 OBD2 more door about 7-8 years ago, and I missed it from the day I sold it! I always knew I'd own a VR again, it was just a matter of when First a quick run down of some of the cars I have had in picture format! The VR I sold this to an ex and always planned on buying it back, sadly a spark in the battery ignited an engine bay fire which resulted in this Then I had a Klassic Red more door with a gutless 1.8 8v engine, but I did a lot to it and took it as far it could go while still being a daily, including Porsche Cups, Vento front, colour

Looks nice, I do love a red one! Reckon I'd get all the arches and skirts back on it though , I think they're quite retro and cool now!

Over 500 miles done so far, mostly covered in wales Been a real good week although came back earlier due to heavy rain flooding the camp site! I ended up buying a roof rack and box with taking 2 kids, 8 birth tent, the mrs and a puppy! Wasn't all trouble free though! Broke the bonnet release cable on the release mechanism so had to order this: http://www.gruvenparts.com/billet-corrado-hood-cable-clip/ and hopefully should be able to open my bonnet again doh! Also need a new bonnet latch as that has somehow got bent so need order a new one! Might also need a crank sensor too as sometimes

Well got some bits painted 2day just need to lacquer them now Headlight cover Polo 6n mirror'sand my engine cover (after I smoothed it and put a hole in)

This is how she stands now ,currently swapping looms out to run obd2 c2 chip ,but I don't think it will be on the road this year now as my bmw daily has blown its turbo so that's gonna lighten my wallet a fair bit and take up any spare time I have fixing it ..

Around £100 for vento front, have seen them go a little cheaper. Then you may need it respraying which is more £££

How much does it cost abouts to get a vento conversion? Really want to do this to mine. Love the look it gives

Well the day eventually came yesterday. She's alive. I couldn't believe she fired up first time on the button. I thought we'd have a right fuck on lol. engine all wired and plumbed in well apart from the radiator. All the air con system removed too so if anyone needs a compressor or pipes I've got so that I'll sell Just need to paint my head light cover and my engine cover and job done. Well apart from tax and mot but that's not a problem

Small evening update! Couple of bits done tonight bought of the bay, new floor mats are in to protect the original carpet. And fitted my new bonnet struts that arrived today. Look much better than the rusty bonnet stay. Before... After... Plans for a new exhaust to be finally fitted this weekend too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
