Second fault code is "00553 Mass air flow sensor (G 70)short to ground". I have new MAF but fault code is still. What is wrong?This faults comes after that I fitted AMS supercharger kit. Bassakos 0 Posted July 10, 2006 Report Share Posted July 10, 2006 i had the same problem with the Engine speed sensor i've got a new one now ,the part number is191-919-149-Dits on the gearbox, mine its LHD so i dont knowif its at the same possition with the RHDi will take o pic tomorow and i will post it! richievr 1 Posted July 10, 2006 Report Share Posted July 10, 2006 engine speed sensor is normally the crank sensor, on the front of the block under the oil filter : - it's held in with a 5mm allen key ..plugs in njust above the starter motor...if not the only other sensor is the cam sensor which is on the end of the head under the end plug lead holder ....(thanks to whoevers pic i used, found it with google...) tomvr 0 Posted July 3, 2009 Report Share Posted July 3, 2009 The crank sensor/engine speed sensor needs to be checked when the engine is running otherwise you will get a false reading, as when the engine is switched off this will always show as a fault. Link to post Share on other sites
