spindat45 0 Posted July 4, 2006 Author Report Share Posted July 4, 2006 the headlights are going to be a tight fit but they will go in. i wanted to have wing extension down the side as well but it wouldn't have looked right and the headlights would definately not have fitted without stripping the front end down. I've had a lot of interest in the mods whilst the car has been in the bodyshop. I hope it suits the car as i haven't seen it on a mk 3 before. fingers crossed Link to post Share on other sites

Thanks to all the VR6OC members that I saw on Sunday at the Pod for your feed back on the new front. I wasn't too sure if it would suit the car but i can honestly say i have no regrets about having it done. I wasn't too keen on the grill at first but it has grown on me. I may change to a 2 slat but for now i'll stick with it. The icing on the cake were the angel eyes which Cuz (Sparkz) spotted in the auto jumble at GTi Festival. I originally wanted the wing extensions to run vertically to give a more square look but it didn't look right when i did a mock up in photoshop (imo).Thanks againKevin Link to post Share on other sites

Very nice!My recommendation would be to have the silver internals in the headlights painted black and fit a 3-bar badgeless grille.I look forward to seeing how it progresses!! Smoked Crystal rear lights were added early this year at Spring Fest I think. Thanks to Sparkz I can now see where I'm going. Out with normal bulbs and in with an HID kit. (Cheers Cuz) These pics were taken in my absence last week at a meet in East London.Thanks to Sparkz again who has had my car for the past couple of weeks whilst I was away on hols. Some kind person damaged the N/S/F edge of my modified bonnet and I had a few scuffs on front and back bumpers so I'm having them done as well.
