Hi everyone,

When you fitted your Koni shocks, can anyone remember or see on their car if the rear shocks have those little black covers/caps over the end of each shock that the piston slides through.

The OE ones that came off had them on, but my new Koni's didn't = just wondered if water and crap was likely to find its way into the shocks.

It may be that they were missing from my kit as there were no spring holders in the kit.

Can anyone just confirm they haven't got any of these dust caps fitted.

Thanks

Simon :)

On standard suspension you normally lift them up to dab a finger on top of the shock to see if its leaking. Should be easy to spot on the car if not too low

Update = I have just looked closer and there is a big dust boot on the rear shocks that fits on to the bottom of the bump stop. The caps I'm talking about will be underneath/inside this big dust boot.
