mattverth 0
Having just missed out on an old (knackered) JL Audio MK3 stealth box on ebay.de, I am certain I will be getting a 1.1 cubic foot (the bigger one) auto acoustics sub stealth box for a very cheeky little JL 8"w7 sub. They do a 0.7 Cubic foot version too, suitable for slightly less dangerous 10" subs.Do we have any ICE fans interested in a group buy of the stealth boxes? I would be getting it before Christmas for my folks to bring over to Aus for me.http://www.autoacoustics.com/sbn-vg033.htmThey do amp boxes as well for t'other side of t'boot, and parcel shelves that don't bend in the middle (even without 6*9's!) All we need now is for them to make a boot floor mat that doesn't bend in the middle and highlight the spacesaver profile. Any takers, PM me and I'll be a middle man, from Aus...taking one for the team!

binliner 0
I had the larger size one but had to change it for a smaller sized one as it stuck out too far and as a result didnt stay put (theyre not actually held in place with anything) I used a vibe 10" sub and it sounded excellent in the small box
mattverth 0
Preferably I would want the smaller box, but the rec. net enclosure volume for my sub is best taken care of by the larger. I will see. Plus the smaller one is a smidge too shallow for my sub:JL even go as far as saying that the box must be bolted down witha 1/2" bolt to the steel of the car, so it doesnt kill you if the barrier doesnt when it pulls out in front of you..... !grr I bolted the box in my jeep down to the wheel arch with a healthy bolt, washers both sides and black silicone, but then there is plenty of clearance in the arch.. Would this be a problem with the VR? I wonder....

mattverth 0
Give me a bargaining tool and I'll get you a a good price. So, let me know a (reasonable) price at which you would take it no questions asked - and remember, I dont think we've seen discounts of greater than 20% on here, ususally more like 10-15%, so knock the VAT off, best case. For our part though, we should just hit them with, yup, I 've got 5 guys, cash ready, and they want it now. Thats the kind of deals they'll want.
mattverth 0
And by the way, what colour carpet am I after. Cuffs and collars should match after all.Are all Golf boot carpets the same? (They were in Stags, regardless of interior or exterior colour! What is the closest AA match?
