purple highline monster 0
(couldnt resist the roof gag!) as long as the painter isnt "rolf harris" it will be a decent job i expect? as long as they have an oven and a decent booth to spray in? preperation is the most important part for a nice finish though. vr6freak 3
do what minty and phm says 'charger and respray' local
SankysVR6 1
Paint and charger. Some paint shops charge out of there ass. Why not strip the pannels off your self to make it easier for the spay guy which might save you some of the labour cost.
pinto 0
Simple Ask the local dude to show you some of his work - most painters have a book of photos to show you the kind of work they turn out, and im sure if you needed further re-assurance, he's point you to a satisfied customer to show you just what he can do Im afraid a lot of the larger and more "prestigeous" bodyshops get caught up in "insurance quote" pricing, a.k.a... ripping you off...and lets face it.. VRmonster 1
i agree with the rest of em. just can justify paying the extra cash on a brand name respray (if you get me...)

Nerih 0
supercharge m8, a respray will no doubt make ur car look good, but in the end you spend the most time behind the wheel, not looking at it, its a bonus if it looks good too.
