Foordie 0 Posted September 28, 2018 Report Share Posted September 28, 2018 VGC & very well looked after & maintained 5 door Mk 4 VW Golf VR6 4motion, 1 family + 1 additional current owner, 83000 miles, dark blue metallic (a few minor age related scuffs only), VGC cream leather heated seats / interior, electric 2 way sunroof, rare factory Xenon headlights, front & rear electric windows, factory alarm & immobiliser, central locking, 6 CD changer / MP3-SD card adaptor fitted, VG service history, fully checked by main VW dealer on purchase at 66000 miles 16 months ago (£1100 spent on full set of new coils & spark plugs fitted, charcoal cannister, CV boots, alternator belt, engine undertray), then had full / major service at 75000 miles (+ new thermostat & housing fitted), full set of 4 Avon ZV7 tyres fitted (excellent wet grip), new 5 year Yuasa battery fitted, common Mk4 faults checked for & fixed: leaking sunroof, leaking rear wash-wiper. MOT to June 2019. Original owner was an elderly gentleman who bought the car from new (purchase letter specifying options he wanted in folder), then transferred to wife / son when he died. Paperwork file and original owners manual + service booklet with car, believed to be full service history, but some service stamps / invoices lost), so cannot state as FSH. Performed admirably in wet slippery clay farmland. Excellent grip in snow ice and laying water. Mission accomplished and no longer need 2 cars.
