Sounds like it, from what I understand the lower the compression more boost you can run if you have a tq/hp figure in mind I would consult your tuner, just bear in mind boost is addictive and you can never have too much! good luck s Link to post Share on other sites

ssaunders 199 Posted August 3, 2017 Report Share Posted August 3, 2017 Ok, standard head gasket even after a resurface will still give you about 9:1 compression a thicker gasket will lower the compression more.
