Timothy_Ellis 23 Posted May 18, 2017 Report Share Posted May 18, 2017 3.2 in my Touareg has a random oil pressure light flashing. Usually after sitting running for a while. Dealer said pcv. They replaced it (it's under warranty) and it's become less frequent but still definitely a thing. And ideas? Link to post Share on other sites

VR6Pete 1,455 Posted May 19, 2017 Report Share Posted May 19, 2017 There is a difference between low oil and low pressure, yes lack of oil can cause low pressure but also blockage can as well. I would start with replacing the sensor, they are situated on top of oil filter housing and do not cost a great deal and easier / cleaner job than dropping the pan.
