Goodge123 5
Is it possible to run a 02m gearbox front wheel drive and still run the transfer box ? . Reason I would like to do this is to maintain equal driveshaft length for torque steer
matty.vrt 120
I see your idea but it reality it does not make sense. You will have to custom fabricate a downpipe to clear the transfer box for very little gain.If you don't have an lsd you will still end up spinning one wheel.
Goodge123 5
True . I need to fab a custom downpipe anyway
matty.vrt 120
Extra weight is worth thinking about as well, those transfer boxes ain't light. I just can't see the gain outweighing the benefit.I drove with the 2wd adapter plate with no lsd for 2 years and never really had any issues.
Daverse 175
Yeah I think United Motorsport make them, or I'm not sure how hard it would be to make your own
matty.vrt 120
My old one was C2 motorsport but I had problems with the gearbox mount flexing. I think if you speak to Don Octane or Turbo Glockel in Germany they have some well tested designs
