Adamski FRST 0 Posted July 5, 2005 Report Share Posted July 5, 2005 ok not sure where to post this up but.........the car feels fine sometimes and then when i get up to about 100 + the front end twitch's out like as if the racks fooked or something but fine in normal driving, altho there does seem to be a gap between when the wheel is straight and if i move it side to side its not as reactive as my RS used to be is this normal on VR's i shit myself doin 120 in this but in my RS i felt safer doin 130.i have roll bars and coilovers on so i am unsure whether maybe the arms or rack could be damaged or maybe this is normal Link to post Share on other sites

meek 0 Posted July 6, 2005 Report Share Posted July 6, 2005 Depending on how big the twitch is check the tops of the suspension turrets. Sounds like a snapped mounting bolt. If its a twitch you can control then probably a warn rack. Link to post Share on other sites

Adamski FRST 0 Posted July 6, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 6, 2005 yer i think it maybe the rack, altho after today i went to see a cossie, so i think i will be doing a few more mods to the VR6 some i already bought and a oil cooler, fly and 6 paddle and smooth the bumpers, then i think i may be selling the VR in the next 6 months, to buy a escort cossie.traitor i know but i miss turbo power and i want 4wd now tbh.... altho in truth i would miss the vr alot the cossie would give me more pleasure i think...
